A sport-loving cat is about to have her day in court.
A cat has been found guilty of torturing her owners in the state of California.
The cat, a female boxer, was found in the back yard of her owners on May 3, 2017, and she was severely beaten, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
She was found with a broken leg, an injured eye, a swollen neck and a cracked rib.
The owner is also suing for $30 million in damages.
The owners say that they are devastated and feel that they were abused.
They say that their pet is a good dog and that the owner’s behavior was out of control.
The Mercury News says that the animal’s owner, a veterinarian named Robert Lee, is the owner of the dog and is accused of tortoring her, using his dog to do work and to take her to parties.
Lee is the father of a son who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The Humane Society of the United States is suing the owners for $50,000 in damages for the abuse.
Lee was arrested and charged with torturing the animal.
The animal was found to have been severely beaten and has a fractured neck.
The lawsuit states that Lee has previously pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and has been charged with animal cruelty again.
Lee faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
